European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration (EPoSS) Annual Forum 2017 “Smart Systems for an Automated World”

The European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration ― EPoSS ― will celebrate its 11th anniversary with the General Assembly and Annual Forum on 19-20 October 2017 in Graz, Austria.
This year’s Annual Forum will centre on the theme “Smart Systems for an Automated World”. By considering cross-cutting technologies and functionalities light will be shed on the contribution of Smart Systems towards increasing automation in different application fields, such as:
- Smart Systems for the Automated Factory
- Smart Systems for the Automated Hospital
- Smart Systems for the Automated Exploration, Monitoring and Management of Natural Resources
- Smart Systems for Automated Farming
- Smart Systems for Automated Transportation
AUTOPILOT will be represented at EPoSS 2017 by project beneficiary CERTH, whose representative Stella Nikolaou will present a paper on Collaborative Perception in automated transportation through IoT technology for safeguarding VRU protection.
