The EUCAD Conference 2019 has been a successful event to showcase some of the European projects working towards the goal of engaging final users in the technological innovation and services of the CAD and IoT world.
AUTOPILOT has participated with a live demo, organised by some of its partners (Eindhoven University of Technology, HUAWEI, NEC, VICOMTECH, Technolution, and TNO) to present one of its use cases: relocation of driverless vehicles in the urban environment.
The demo has showed how VRU detection could be used for safely maneuvering an automated vehicle through crowded areas, thanks to its warning system and perception technology developed within the project.
